Peter Zablocki is a historian, author, and professor of history at Caldwell University. His work has appeared in Smithsonian Magazine, Military History Quarterly, & Military History Magazine, among others. He lives in New Jersey with his family and two cats, who frequently—and unapologetically—interrupt his research and writing.
